There's so much in canon that strongly implies Aiden could be an addict because Ubisoft loves their minigames and secondary mechanics, and I really like that as a characterization choice for Aiden. Especially with how it ties into his obsession with revenge and the way he torches his entire life down around him. But it's even more fun if he's aware of it to some degree, and tries to handle the problem in his own characteristically disastrous sort of way.

I figure there's a couple different ways Jordi can get involved with this - either Aiden seeking him out (because Jordi is dangerous and Aiden's craving that kind of danger) or Jordi stumbling across Aiden engaging in Inadvisable Sex and deciding that y'know what, this is a problem he can solve. And/or make much worse. Depends on his mood, really!

Along with basically every NSFW like listed above, CNC, impact play, exhibitionism, being shared/gangbangs, and public sex are all totally on the table. The less planned and negotiated, the better.

Okay, right off the bat: I strongly prefer Aiden as the omega in this, because I love to see him suffer, but I think that omega!Jordi could be an absolutely fascinating take too.

Every single omegaverse worldbuilding aspect that sort of builds on that structural oppression is something I enjoy, especially when it ties into misogyny and homophobia and how that plays out with a third axis of oppression to work with. Go either pure AU or just tie it in with canon-divergence - omegaverse stuff mixes with canon events in interesting ways, and if you run with just how fuckawful organized crime would be about omega fixers, I think there's a lot of room to play with it.

Alternate Universe - Black Jewels Fusion

*clears throat, taps mic* Aiden as a gay Warlord Prince on a rampage after the death of his Queen niece. That's it, that's the concept.

More seriously, all of the toxic masculinity in the games maps alarmingly well onto the almost... idealized? expression of it in the Black Jewels series, especially if it's set in Terrielle. Lucky Quinn's contempt for women and his manipulation of events from the background has his pretty much typecast as a Black Jewels villain anyways, you just slap a caste on him and go.

Also, just in general, two Warlord Princes fucking is hot, so. Make of that what you will.

Alternate Universe - Mercy Thompson Fusion

I'm so in love with the Mercyverse and its particular take on urban fantasy, and I think that WD1's story can actually drop right into the broader world without much changing. But I also think that ctOS being a Thing could really play into the broader fae/werewolf reveal politics in interesting ways too, so I'd go completely nuts for anything that tried to explore how that all happened.

Aiden as a lone wolf is absolutely fantastic, but him as half-fae, or witchblooded, or even just a normal motherfucker that ends up on the spooky side of things because the fixer world crosses over with the supernatural world often enough that he crosses paths with them, all of it is good. Same with Jordi, honestly, though Jordi's enough of a force of nature on his own that you could spin him as basically any kind of supernatural creature and I would nod along in agreement. (Jordi as a Grey Lord! Horrifying though.)

If you want to go the full crossover with this, please feel free! I'm into it as a standalone fusion, but actually touching base with Mercyverse canon characters is wonderful too.

Considering everything that happens in Andromeda, and considering how all of these characters are in the shit at least once during the game, it's not unrealistic to think that some of them might up injured in course of things. Gunshot wounds, burns, lacerations, broken bones - all of it is on the table, and I'm fine with gruesome handling of injuries in text.

Pick your poison for adversaries too! There's just, so many people who have grudges, basically any of them could be the ones actively hunting the pair on the run. But I'd be especially interested in any matchup that sets up some political nonsense - the Roekaar injuring Scott or Evfra, the Exiles gunning for Kandros, the Collective's attack on Kaetus coming back for round two. I like a lot of the interfactional history there, and I think it'd be fun to play with.

Characters Have Sex As Part Of Diplomatic Negotiations and/or Relations

POLITICAL ~~MARRAIGE~~ FUCKING? A LITTLE POLITICAL FUCKING AS A TREAT?

So, there's two different flavors of this that I love, and sort of two different approaches I was thinking of re: the ships I've picked for this one. With Avitus, he's either the Pathfinder or an unaffiliated mercenary, and that makes him kind of a perfect go between for the various factions vying over Kadara - the Collective, the Outcasts, the Nexus. And what better way to prove that he's being perfectly neutral than a little diplomatic sex?

Meanwhile! Scott's the Pathfinder, Evfra is the leader of the Resistance and probably the most conservative ally he has in the angara, so there definitely has to be some kind of way to build diplomatic relations between them. That some kind of way is sex. They should fuck. It'll be great.

Post-canon - characters slowly recover from trauma caused by canon
Grief - Bonding over mutual grief
Grief - Character who is not good at feelings deals with grief

Pick your poison. Literally all of these guys have some huge tragedy happen to them, and usually a bunch of smaller ones too. Seeing them work through it together is something that just takes my id and runs with it.

Stuff that I think could be especially good to focus on is the immediacy of Scott and Avitus's grief, in part because losing the people they've loved also catapults them into positions of power (or tries to, in Avitus's case) and they're not given much room to process it. Seeing how other characters approach that with older wounds that still hurt could be a lot of fun, especially when they're people like Kandros and Evfra, who have their own experiences with taking positions of power off the back of tragic losses.

But on the other hand! Kaetus has the option to lose Sloane (while he's too injured to help! when he trusted the Pathfinder to keep her alive!) and holy hell, the sort of bitterness that would cause is incredible. Especially if Avitus is a mercenary with his own resentment for the Pathfinder, I think the two of them would have a lot of room to bond over just straight up hating this goddamn human, and I think that's great.

Courtship rituals! Differences in culture between planets and settlements on planets! What kind of food did the angara have before nutrient paste became the norm? What kind of food do angara eat when they don't have access to that highly processed ration and have to resort to less efficient (but probably more sensual and enjoyable) meals instead?

And what do angaran cities look like outside of Aya? Are all the settlements laid out in tiers, since some of the ones we see on Voeld are very similar? Is it more a matter of tying the city to the environment, or are there architectural details that end up crossing that planetary divide? Why do angaran designs run counter to the remtech, considering that those ruins are pretty heavily tied into a lot of angaran history and culture?

Battle Couple

I'm not sure how much additional explanation this one needs, but I just love to read action scenes and I really love competency kink, so this tag works for both. Go nuts!

Imprisonment and aftermath of it
Hurt/Comfort - Aftermath of Torture

Akksul's whole backstory is primed for this one, oh boy. Considering the condition he must have been in after coming out of the labor camps, it'd be a wonder if he wasn't still recovering a long time after. Whumping the absolute hell out of him - and letting him be furious about it and breaking in ways that weren't expected - would be fantastic for this.

Alternatively, all three of them are totally at risk for being captured and tortured by Exiles embittered by the situation they've been thrown into. The kett would do it too, but the Exiles would be a lot less controlled about it, and I think there's a lot of really fun, awful things you can tie into that. Especially when it comes to recovering afterwards, and what forms that recovery might take.

Also! Tying all that into the angaran cultural thing with illness and recovery, and seeing how that might affect injury and psychological damage is really interesting.

Dishonored

Alternate Universe - Werewolf

I DON'T KNOW IF I'VE MADE THIS APPARENT, BUT I LOVE WEREWOLVES. Of all sorts, really, but especially the "painful change, struggles with the inner beast" variety - conveniently, also a great thing to tie into the Dishonored 'verse, where everyone suffers constantly for goth reasons. (And it's something I really, really enjoy with Corvo.)

Daud and the Whalers are set up for wolf pack cohesion pretty much from the getgo, but I think there's some really cool stuff you could do with the Outsider as a supernatural force too. And like, no matter what way you cut it, Corvo's going to have an absolute hell of a time, so that's always fun.

It can work pretty easily as a canon divergence, but I'm more than okay with full setting change AUs too. Dump these characters into an modern paranormal romance novel, or throw them into a terrifying high fantasy setting, whatever! As long as werewolves are involved, I'm there with bells on.

Alternate Universe - Black Jewels Fusion

I'm not saying that Corvo as Jessamine's Master of the Guard because she can't afford to have a non-aristo as Consort leading to a fraught political situation in which she's murdered and Corvo's paternity of Emily is never formalized so it's all a mess is something that I would read for ages, but I'm not not saying that either. Because with all of that as background, imagine just how easily a lot of Black Jewels castes and social dynamics would actually map onto Dunwall as a whole.

And! With murder being legal, how legitimized is Daud as an assassin? Would the Abbey still be a thing? Is there actually a different kind of political reason to try and hunt him and the Whalers down? What fucking caste is he even???? (Corvo is a Warlord Prince to me but I would love to see him as a regular warlord or Prince too!)

And!! The Outsider!!! With all the fuckery that the Blood magic gets up to!!! There's so much potential there!!!!

(Alternatively: The Outsider as Witch. That's hilarious.)

Worldbuilding - Magic Spells & Rituals
Magic Made Them Do It

You know, I didn't grab the 'ritual sex' tag here, but it would fit. I'm just hugely fascinated by the magical underpinnings of the Dishonored 'verse, both directly from the Outsider's mark as well as things like the Abbey's use of music to nullify it and the existence of witches outside of the Outsider's direct influence.

And I think it would be really hot if any/all of that pushed people to fucking, too.

Accidental Soulbond

I mean, when you think about it, the Outsider's mark is basically a soulbond anyways. Let's just take that half a step further and really play around with it. One of the things I like about soulbonding tropes is the forced intimacy of them, especially as it exists in a 'verse without codified soulmates or anything like that - soulbonding is inflicted, rather than inborn, and I think the way it shapes the dynamic is a lot of fun.

Daud/Corvo is really good for this, because you can set it at basically any point in canon and it would make them both miserable. It's great. But points where I think it's especially fun are post-betrayal of Corvo by the Loyalists (can Daud feel the pain of him being poisoned?) or directly after the assassination of Jessamine (IMAGINE BEING TORTURED IN PRISON AND BEING TIED TO THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE THE WHOLE TIME.)

But like *gestures above* I feel like the Outsider is just in a wonderful position for inflicting soulbonds. And considering some of the things he says to Corvo in canon, it probably wouldn't be 'enemies to lovers' so much as 'god to extremely unwilling supplicant', which is also a fantastic dynamic.

I'd really love a time travel fic where Vanyel goes to face Leareth and magic circumstances kick him back to the moment Tylendal first opens the Gate. Older, wiser, much more emotionally aware Vanyel stuck in his teen body, just about to have his channels blasted open (again!) and put in a position to stop 'Lendal before everything goes wrong this time. I think it could be a lot of fun, whether Vanyel lets events play out within reason or whether he goes forward trying to thwart Leareth's plans with all the knowledge he has of the future now. Especially if this is accompanied by a bunch of guilt of Stefan maybe not being born if he stops Tylendal, and Vanyel being able to see 'Lendal as he is rather than the golden ideal that he'd built his memories into being.

And there's so much room to explore Vanyel's responses to everything he's gone through, especially since he's got actual foreknowledge instead of vague premonitions to guide him - what kind of effect does it have when he starts changing things? How does he respond to the changes, once those ripples start meaning that he can't predict it anymore? How does he deal with seeing all his dead friends again, even outside of 'Lendal and that tragic first love that he's getting the chance to relive?

There doesn't have to be a romantic focus if that's not your thing. I'm more than happy to see Vanyel trying to make the most of his relationship with his aunt and the other Heralds, or a focus on specifically averting everything that goes so terribly wrong over the course of the series.
