alpha!Widowmaker/omega!Sombra: Whether or not Widowmaker was an alpha before she was brainwashed, I'm betting Sombra would try and hide her omega status unless it was useful to her. The two of them finding out that they're technically a pair in sync at the worst time would be amazing—maybe Widowmaker's never been through a rut before and Sombra has to take the lead, or it's been so many years since Sombra's come off suppressants that she can't handle the onslaught of feelings that heat brings. Either way, they're fumbling through it with a healthy dollop of desperation.

alpha!Reaper/alpha!Soldier 76: Either before the explosion in Zurich or afterwards—I'm happy with basically any variation on this theme. The two of them in the early days of the super soldier program, during the golden years of Overwatch, as lovers-to-enemies in the wreckage after Zurich and never quite able to forget each other... Lover-to-enemies is especially interesting to me though, especially if neither of them can quite trust anyone else to see them through rut, and that simultaneous trust and lack thereof leading to extra desperation when it came around.

alpha!Doomfist/beta!Reaper
alpha!Doomfist/alpha!Reaper: Honestly, both of these are dynamics I'd be interested in, especially with the power play of Doomfist taking control of Talon again while Reaper is still working on some level to undermine it. Either they have a mutual agreement when it comes to ruts or it's just a matter of convenience that becomes another chess piece in the game—I think it's a really interesting back and forth to explore, and also I think they'd have a really interesting dynamic in the bedroom.

omega!Widowmaker/beta!Sombra: Widowmaker being an omega that's usually suppressed by the same cocktail that suppresses her feelings and heartbeat, but something happens that undermines that. Sombra isn't an alpha that can see her through it or an omega that can soothe her and help her nest, but she is very clever and good with her hands and mouth, so she can help Widowmaker through it anyways.

Nonspecific heat prompts
in heat!Widowmaker/Sombra/Reaper: I just love the concept of the fuckery done to Widowmaker having unintended side-effects, and uncontrolled heats are one of those. It coming at the most inopportune time for a Talon mission, and both Sombra and Reaper having to take care of it is a scenario I think would be neat. (Or it coming during downtime, and both of them tag-teaming her until she's worn out and finally able to decompress after a mission.)

Mass Effect: Andromeda

omega!Male Ryder/Jaal Ama Darav: I really love the idea of m!Ryder being an omega, maybe even sharing that with his twin, and still being thrust into a position of poorly-timed authority as Pathfinder. Especially when this means that he has diplomatically inconvenient heat to deal with!

alpha!Female Ryder/Vetra Nyx: And alternatively, I also really love the idea of f!Ryder being alpha and connecting with Vetra about that protective older sister (ten whole seconds!) aspect, especially when that means she can be open about asking Vetra to spend a rut with her. It'd be really interesting for any of the A/B/O prompts to be human-specific—maybe they're the galactic weirdos, maybe it's just a thing for humans and no one questions it, maybe f!Ryder gets to ride Vetra's face and doesn't even care about the teeth, who knows!

Sex pollen prompts:
sp!Ryder/Jaal Ama Darav/Vetra Nyx/Drack Nackmor/Peebee: Ryder stumbles across some nasty bit of wildlife while they're out, and no one is certain whether or not prolonged contact with them could affect the human members of the crew. So their bedroom becomes a no-humans-allowed zone, but they can't seem to come off the sex pollening on their own, so it's time for the rest of the crew to step in and help! (Any gender of Ryder is fine.)

sp!Cora Harper/Lexi T'Perro/Peebee: I love the idea of Cora's biotics being terrifyingly strong, especially when her inhibitions are lowered, and I love the idea of her getting sex pollened on a mission and needing to be taken care of by people who can safely handle that level of power. Luckily, there are two asari on board the Tempest!

sp!Ryder/Evfra de Tershaav/Jaal Ama Darav: Aya's wildlife is not always human-safe, and no one realizes that certain pollinating plants have inconvenient effects until Ryder is midmeeting with the Resistance leader and Jaal. Oops. At least they can convince Jaal and Evfra to help them out...? (Any gender of Ryder is fine.)

in heat!Jaal Ama Darav/Male Ryder: Angaran heats being a thing! Especially angaran heats being a thing that they're close-lipped about, but it becomes a lot more important for Jaal to open up to Ryder over it when his starts looming close and they aren't anywhere near an angaran settlement for him to spend it in.

in heat!Evfra de Tershaav/Jaal Ama Darav: I love that Evfra is this suspicious, surly dude that still very deeply cares about the Resistance, and I love that he trusts Jaal more than he trusts most people. I could see him refusing to reach out to anyone but Jaal, and knowing that his faith will be carefully guarded. He might not be able to risk stepping away from the Resistance for long, but he knows that he can trust Jaal to both take care of him and keep things running in his semi-absence.

omega!Male Ryder/in heat!Jaal Ama Darav: Not unlike the omega!m!Ryder prompt above, but with the added twist that Angara also have heats (and maybe ruts?) so he and Jaal sync up accidentally. Convenient for both of them, surely, but also possibly a very weird indication of cross-species viability that no one's quite certain about!

Either an early relationship, right when Rainier is starting to teach the members of the Dark Court how to dance or a later one, when they've settled into their respective roles and only get to meet every few weeks (except this is something of an emergency, because Rainier is afraid of what he'll do if his rut isn't satisfied and what he'll do if it is.) The two of them sharing a Jewel rank means that there's no massive power difference between them, but that gulf still feels huge when the quirks of Rainier's caste start showing up in force.

in heat!Daemon Sadi/Lucivar Yaslana
in heat!Lucivar Yaslana/Daemon Sadi: In either direction, Lucivar strongly implied that he and Daemon have seen each other in ruts and under the effects of safframate before. One of them helping the other work it off, with violence or sex (or violent sex!) would be great, especially in the years pre-Jaenelle. I just want to see the deeply intimate and sometimes very unbrotherly love between them explored, especially as it relates to that particular terrifying loss of control that rut represents.

omega!Corvo Attano/alpha!Daud: Omega Corvo getting underestimated by just about everyone and Daud being the one person who realizes how dangerous the Lord Protector is—and by that same token, Daud being the one person who can pick up on the fact that Corvo's getting erratic for reasons other than the perfectly sensible "I was framed for murder and my daughter was kidnapped again" kind. Alternatively, Corvo who wasn't known as omega prior to Jessamine's death (and possibly still isn't), which means his heat sneaking up on him at inopportune times comes as a shock to everyone. Maybe even right after he spares Daud's life?

alpha!Corvo Attano/alpha!Daud: I like that Daud and Corvo are two sides of a coin, both of them twisted mirrors of each other, and I think that's even more interesting if they're also a pair of alphas with an inexplicable attraction to each other. Fighting that turns into sex or vice versa is so much fun, especially if it's the first rut one of them has had in years.

omega!Corvo Attano/alpha!Jessamine Kaldwin: I'd love to see either pure smut, Jessamine fucking Corvo through his heat, or something more worldbuilding focused with this one. What does it mean for Jessamine to be an alpha? What does it mean for the Lord Protector to be her omega? (Which one of them actually carried Emily?)

Sex pollen prompts:
sp!Corvo Attano/The Outsider: Something—a bone charm, an unusual bit of botany, some new and exciting variant on the rat plague—doses Corvo up in such a way that he can't deal with it outside of his dreams. Conveniently, this is where the Outsider has the most power! And, well, Corvo is one of his favorites.

sp!Corvo Attano/sp!Daud: I could easily see Delilah growing flowers with this sort of purpose and I could also see pollen from some of those making their way into the Flooded District right before Corvo gets left there. Maybe the pollen only works on those with the Ousider's mark, or maybe these two are just unlucky, but since Corvo is headed for Daud's office anyways...

Nonspecific heat prompts:
in heat!Corvo Attano/Daud: I just wanna see Corvo as a desperate, needy mess. Maybe it's something the Outsider's mark has done? Maybe it's something intrinsic to Corvo? Who knows! But for whatever reason, he's desperate, maybe even magically driven towards it, and Daud is the only person who can help see him through to the other side.

It's a secret he doesn't dare let out, and he thinks he's managed until whoops! Whatever suppressants he usually uses stop working (or he forgets to take them because he's too consumed by hunting Lena's killers) and Jordi finds out his dirty little secret... then helps him with that dirty little secret, because Jordi's an opportunistic murderer for hire but he's also a friend.

alpha!Jordi Chin/beta!Marcus Holloway: Tbh, I just think they'd be hilarious together. Especially if it's a semi-hostile sort of thing, where Marcus knows it's stupid to have sex with Jordi but he wants to have sex with Jordi, and Jordi's in need of a partner to share his rut with anyways.

alpha!Sitara Dhawan/omega!Josh Sauchak: Sitara and Josh going through heat together! Josh being sensitive about people's treatment of him as both an omega man and an autistic one, while Sitara knows exactly which landmines to avoid—and probably has a few of her own, given the way alpha women are perceived. Maybe even a getting together fic?

sp!Aiden Pearce/Jordi Chin: Aiden is a dumbass! Jordi is the guy he goes to when he's got a problem! So when Aiden "Dumbass" Pearce gets drugged with a suspect aphrodisiac, of course Jordi is the person he calls. Jordi's pretty good at taking care of problems like this one.

omega!Officer K | Joe/beta!Ana Stelline: Honestly love the idea of Ana and K fumbling through that first, overwhelming heat with all the grace and subtlety of a bull in a china shop. She's been locked away (either as a lie to keep her safe or genuinely for her own good!) for years, he's been treated as little more than a walking weapon, neither of them are going to be good at this but that won't necessarily mean they aren't enthusiastic about it.

Sex pollen prompts:
sp!Officer K | Joe/Joi: Some kind of street market drug? A deliberate trap set by a replicant he's hunting? A prank gone too far by a hateful cop? There's a bunch of different ways you could take this, and I'm interested in all of them—both the inciting incident and the aftermath, however K handles (or fails to handle) it and Joi does her best to be there for him even without a body of her own. This one could definitely veer pretty deep into hurt/comfort as much as it does smut, and I'd love that.
