Ships:
Aiden/Jordi: Jordi is such an asshole, and Aiden is also such an asshole, so letting them be assholes together is always fun. I love how much Jordi snarks and pokes and jabs at Aiden, along with his usual rambling humor over the comms when he’s sniping, and I love that Aiden just… takes it all in stride. It’s funny, because Jordi’s the one person Aiden seems to let his guard down around because Jordi’s predictable in all his sociopathy. Which is probably why his betrayal didn’t shock Aiden as badly as it should’ve; there was big money on the table, and Jordi warned him there was big money on the table, so eventually he should’ve expected Jordi to come after him.

I love post-canon fic that dances around that betrayal, Jordi and Aiden working themselves back into each other’s good graces through jobs together until they just sort of fall into bed. I also really love pining on Aiden’s behalf, especially pining while actively fucking Jordi, because Jordi made it abundantly clear that he doesn’t do feelings or love or anything like that (and if there’s one character flaw Aiden definitely has, it’s feeling too much, too deeply, too intensely to handle sometimes.)

I’m also into AUs, any AUs, but especially AUs which deal with the supernatural. Jordi just feels like he could be something unknowable and inhuman, a vampire or a fae or an old god, and it’s really fun to consider how Aiden stumbling into that world could go. Jordi as a guide or Jordi as an opposing force and then there’s Aiden, who’s really good at ferreting his way into situations he absolutely should not be in and then toppling all the power structures on his way—there’s a great urban fantasy AU to be had there, is what I’m saying.

Marcus/Jordi: Confession time: I played WD2 first, and Jordi’s introduction in Human Conditions is exactly what drove me to play WD1. Because he is fucking hilarious, and he’s such a dick to Marcus, who is even less patient with him than he is with Lenni. Marcus has enough room in his life for one murderous weirdo with distinctive fashion tastes, and Wrench at least watches the same movies. And yet! Nothing would bring me more joy than to see Marcus, appalled by his own bad taste, drawn into Jordi’s sphere of attraction.

So enemies to lovers is like, 100% my jam with these two, in basically any shape. I like it as a canon ‘verse thing, where Jordi’s come back to San Fran for whatever reason and decides that he needs Marcus’s help (Marcus’s opinion on the matter be damned) and because Jordi is Jordi, he’s also like, “What if I flirt relentlessly now that I’m in a better mood, huh?” And if Marcus is feeling particularly stupid and/or self-destructive, he looks at that and goes, “I mean sure, I guess, why not,” and ends up offended and dismayed by how much he enjoys it. Maybe even by how much he enjoys being around Jordi once the fear of dying isn’t on the table anymore.

Or! AUs! Total setting swap AUs, where Marcus is some kind of freedom fighter or resistance member in a magical kingdom and Jordi is the assassin that runs across him while targeting a particularly nasty noble, or Marcus is a cyborg with implants fighting against the corporate regime in a more far-flung-future cyberpunk/sci fi setting and Jordi is genetically engineered hitman who works for himself and no other, or Marcus is the Chosen One and Jordi’s the Big Bad who’s just loving the chance to fuck with him… I think that antagonistic relationship between them is really fun and I’d love to see it in other ways.

If you really wanted to hit me in the funnybone, Jordi and Marcus meet on Fetlife and then realize who the other guy is and everything is terrible (wonderful) and Marcus can never let Wrench know he accidentally seduced the fixer from the Anton job into domming him.

Aiden/OMC: GET AIDEN A BOYFRIEND. That’s it, that’s my only wish. But if you want some more than that…

I’ve always been enamoured with the idea of Aiden eventually getting so sick of the bullshit that he goes somewhere small, outside the ctOS network, where he can be someone else. Someone who wasn’t plastered on national news, someone who didn’t drive his entire family away after getting his niece killed, someone who didn’t upend an entire city in pursuit of revenge. Small fishing village on the Pacific coast, a tiny town in the rural South, someplace deep in the wilds of Montana where strangers are rare and noteworthy… Aiden being an outsider for reasons that go beyond who he used to be and slowly getting closer to one of the locals who doesn’t know his dark secrets (but might discover them?)

Alternatively, Aiden before he was the Vigilante! Did he have a boyfriend? Did he have anonymous fucks that sometimes were less anonymous than they should be? When he was fighting for money, when he was doing fixer jobs before he met Damien, did he ever meet anyone? The possibilities are endless!

Mass Effect: Andromeda

- Angaran worldbuilding! Customs, other hidden worlds, languages, history (both lost and found), relationship dynamics...
- Whumping the absolute shit out of Ryder
- Focus on exploring alien worlds, ancient ruins and technology, uncovering secrets that were never meant to be hidden
- Established relationships
- Slowburn get togethers
- Interplanetary politics

If M!Ryder features, I strongly prefer default Scott’s appearance and name. But if you want to feature his sister (either as the Pathfinder or just as an important character) I don’t care much what her name and appearance is! Go hogwild, F!Ryder is a freespace.

Ships:
Avitus/Macen: Ah, my favorite tragic couple. One of the things I love is that, even though we never meet Macen, we get a strong sense of who is as a person—a dreamer, and idealist, but also someone who was well-respected and practical enough to make it as Pathfinder. And someone who is deeply, overwhelmingly in love with Avitus, to the point where his driving desire to see Avitus live (and the Natanus settled at ‘home’) ends up twisting up his SAM with all its damage afterwards.

So anything set pre-canon would be fantastic. I want to see the slow build of romance (or maybe a hot night of passion that goes further?) between a Spectre and an engineers whose contributions have earned him a pretty high rank! I’d love to get more of what they were like before everything went to shit, especially since Avitus is utterly, overwhelmingly devoted to Macen. He comes across space to a whole new galaxy for him!

But also, canon-divergence (both of them live, but maybe Macen thinks Avitus is dead for the longest time?) and time travel AUs are totally open for me. If time travel’s on the table, multiple loops that end in tragedy before a final loop that ends with Macen alive is totally fine; alternatively, time travel where Avitus goes back and finds out in this universe, he died, and has to come to terms with a galaxy where Macen moved forward alone. And maybe chooses to stay behind in this one, for better or worse. Take it any interesting places you want!

Akksul/Evfra: Both Akksul and Evfra are charismatic (for a given metric of charismatic) leaders who took charge to put up a singular strong front against an alien menace, and both of them have histories that led to that point. But where Evfra managed to lead the Rebellion into the most secure position the angara have been in since the kett invasion, Akksul took the Roekaar to more and more extreme measures, until he was willing to destroy the heritage he once loved just to strike a blow against the Initiative. Evfra rose, while Akksul fell.

I'm really interested in seeing how these two mirror each other and how they could possibly end up together—long term, romantically, or shorter term, in that period of time just after peaceful resolution of Jaal's loyalty mission, where Akksul is hunting for something new to believe in and Evfra is a convenient port in a storm.

And I love anything that tries to address whether or not the Nexus would try and hold the Roekaar responsible for attacks on their settlements. The angara and the Nexus seem to be in something of a holding pattern when it comes to the Outcasts and the Roekaar, since both were radical fringe groups acting out violence without sanction, but Akksul as the leader of the Roekaar is in a much more vulnerable (culpable) position than his people under him. Since I can't seen Evfra allowing an angara to fall into some alien jurisdiction ever, I would love to see exactly how he prevents that from happening in the first place without undermining diplomatic relations.

Magnum Bullets

Fic - 10k, Comics - 10 pages, Comics - 5 pages

Likes:
- The absolutely amazing aesthetic of the video
- Furries being furries and mixing in actual animal behaviors along with all the human ones they start with
- Cyberdystopias, underdogs standing against the Man
- Loving descriptions/depictions of guns being cleaned and maintenanced
- Violently bright colors; high contrast B&W comic pages
- Events set pre-canon exploring the worldbuilding

Ships:

Tri/Circle: Goddamn, do I love the visual aesthetic of this video. And the worldbuilding! I want to know how Tri and Circle fit into this world, how the cyberpunk setting came to be, why their gang rose up to prominence in the first place. It’s obvious that Circle’s death hits Tri hard; in a timeline where this never happens, or where he survives against all odds, what does that look like?

Alternatively, anything that just sort of plays with the world, set before the events of the music video. Meet cutes! Get together fic! Established relationship fic! Tri making grand gestures for Circle, or maybe quiet ones—or Circle being the pursuer of the cool, gunslinging leader of a gang who doesn’t know what hits him when this wolf comes along. I’m open to just about anything!

I’d prefer if their anthro designs were kept for any fic or comics, because I do love them just being wolves, but I’m not against humanized designs and AUs. So long as they’re both still lanky motherfuckers who gangle dramatically everywhere, it’s all good.

The Exorcist (TV)

Fic - 10k

Likes:
- Intense pining and overtones of religious devotion as a reason for holding back
- Demonic possessions as a vehicle for exploring the grief, trauma, and circumstances of the people they encounter
- I’M NOT SAYING THAT SOULBONDING COULD HAPPEN BUT…
- Marcus with his shirt off
- Character explorations, quiet intimacy, in-between moments that capture who people truly are
- Theology and explanations thereof

Ships:

Marcus/Tomas: I bingewatched the show over a week and I fell hard for these two. Tomas, who is headstrong and charismatic and beautiful, and Marcus who is intense and stubborn and flowing over with compassion in his own way. I love how utterly faithful both of them are, even when it’s a fight to be that way, and I love how they revolve around each other like it’s impossible to escape their own gravity.

Casefic is always a great possibility; there’s a hundred different situations that could lead to possession, and one of the things I loved about the show was that exploration of the things that lead people down that path. (Grief! Grief is a big one!) And pining, oh my god, the possibility of pining, especially pining as they do job after job after job together… Set either between seasons 1 and 2, or maybe post-canon fic that reunites them?

If you have an interesting setting change AU idea, that could be really cool too—I’d want aspects like faith (and the constant challenges to it + reaffirming of it) to be maintained, but there’s a variety of scifi or fantasy settings I think could be fun to throw these two into. I’m more than happy with 10k words of pure canon character exploration too, though, I just want to see them together!
